The Mint refining toner from Skin Script is a great help for those of you who deal with acne, irritation, or texture from wearing masks.

One of the main causes of Maskne is the result of clogged pores. You already have oil, bacteria, and dead skin cells on your skin. 🦋Dunaliella Salina Extract (algae) which is an active substance used to normalize the skin’s moisture content and provide suppleness. It is an antioxidant and is anti-inflammatory. This is a type of micro-algae that's known for being adaptable and able to survive even in harsh natural conditions.

Creating a barrier between the mask and your skin can make a huge difference in how your skin reacts to wearing a mask especially when you have to wear it for hours at a time.

But don’t forget to cleanse your face regularly – Washing your face morning and night can prevent the build up of bacteria, oil, and other pore-clogging elements.

🦋My name is Verné and I am one of the Master Estheticians . I have been independently working alongside a wonderful group of estheticians in a great environment since February.

🦋One of the reasons that I decided to become an esthetician is because of my love and passion for makeup. And when I started my journey by going to esthetics school in 2020, I fell in love with skin and all things self care! I graduated from the Chrysm institute of Esthetics professional esthetics program in 2020 and the master esthetics program in 2021.

🦋I chose the name Skinology for my business because everything skin is my passion, my branch of knowledge and my expertise. To know skin is what I am building my business to be and I continue to learn and train to be the type of esthetician I would trust with my skin.

🦋Some of my favorite services to perform are Chemical Peels and Microdermabrasion but I have a wide range of services I perform which includes facials, sugaring and tinting.

➡️LED, or light emitting diode therapy, is a skincare treatment that uses varying wavelengths of light.

➡️LED is very effective in treating a myriad of skin conditions including acne, hyperpigmentation, eczema, rosacea and aging for a variety of skin types.

➡️NASA originally developed it for plant growth experiments on shuttle missions and later found it to have promise for wound treatment.

➡️ Red LED speeds wound healing, stimulates collagen production and reduces inflammation.

➡️ Blue LED kills acne causing bacteria, which is found in the oil glands of the face, neck and back.

➡️ Green LED is a favorite for those suffering from hyperpigmentation issues. Those with melasma have the hardest time reducing discoloration because the pigment resides in the upper dermis of the skin and is triggered by hormones.
