The West Side has spoken.

Brandon Johnson said he invested billions of dollars on the West Side and the South Side. We went to the West Side, talked directly with residents, and this is what the citizens had to say out of their own mouths.

I've been telling you, and I'm going to keep telling you.

I'm not playing games. All lies will be exposed.

As Mayor, I will implement my Neighborhood Revitalization Plan to rebuild every community by repurposing vacant city-owned properties, supporting small businesses and homeownership, grants, tax break incentives ,cutting red tape, and making it easier for the people who live in these neighborhoods to own businesses and property in their own communities.

I will put Chicago citizens first by ending sanctuary city policies, demanding independent forensic audits to ensure taxpayer dollars are being spent as intended, and bringing transparency and accountability back to City Hall.

The people deserve results, not empty promises.

I had a great time spending the day with my veteran friend Dale Tippet, a man who fought for the country and the freedoms we are blessed to have today.

We spent our time visiting different districts during National Night Out, meeting amazing Chicagoans, listening to their stories, and hearing their concerns firsthand.

Getting out into the community, connecting with people from all over Chicago, and understanding what matters to them was truly a beautiful experience.
Community starts with showing up, listening, and standing with the people.

Brandon Johnson, you can keep trying to win an Oscar or audition for a Tyler Perry movie, but whichever direction you decide to go, one thing is clear: your time in office is coming to an end.

I will continue reminding the citizens of Chicago who you are, what this administration has done, and what the Democratic candidates running for mayor stand for , especially those who currently hold office and have had the power to make changes but failed.

The people are paying attention. We see what’s happening, and we understand what’s at stake. Chicago deserves leadership that puts citizens first, protects our neighborhoods, supports our police, lowers the burden on taxpayers, and brings accountability back to City Hall.

End sanctuary city policies and ensure Chicago cooperates with federal law enforcement.
Conduct forensic audits across city departments, including CPS and migrant spending, and make the results public. Freeze property taxes until taxpayers have answers about rising costs.
Restore law and order by supporting CPD, addressing staffing shortages, and keeping repeat violent offenders off our streets.
Protect Chicago families, businesses, and neighborhoods by putting Chicagoans first.

My administration will push to end Chicago's sanctuary city policy, which prioritizes and protects illegal immigrants over Chicago citizens .fully cooperate with federal law enforcement on criminal immigration enforcement, prioritize the removal of violent offenders, strengthen public safety, conduct forensic audits across city government, restore transparency, protect taxpayer dollars, and focus city resources on the citizens of Chicago.

CBS reporting crew was attacked. That is unacceptable, and it’s exactly why we need honesty when we talk about crime in this city.

For too long, we’ve been told that “crime is down,” while families, workers, now journalists, and everyday people continue to experience violence in real time.

The statistics that are being put out don’t reflect what people are living through on the ground.

I’ve been saying this consistently: you cannot gaslight communities into believing everything is fine when people are being impacted every day.

And here’s the truth, if anyone thinks crime is “not a problem,” ask the people who are experiencing it. Ask them if they feel safe. Ask them if they think it’s down
If even media professionals are being attacked, then it should be a wake-up call, not a talking point.

MY PLAN
As Mayor, I will not ignore reality or manipulate numbers. I will focus on what actually reduces crime

We will prioritize getting repeat violent offenders off the streets.

We will fully audit public safety spending so resources go where they are needed.

We will strengthen coordination between city, state, and federal partners.

We will invest in prevention, mental health, and youth intervention programs that actually work.

We will fully support our police officers, give them the tools they need, and untie their hands so they can do their jobs effectively, while still holding them accountable to the highest standards.

And we will enforce the law by arresting repeat offenders and making sure violent criminals are prosecuted and kept off the streets, not cycling in and out of the system.

Public safety is not a slogan. It is the foundation of a functioning city.

This interview was in December 2025. Thank you to Fox News for giving me a platform to speak on issues that I know Chicago’s local media will never covered.

Everything I am running on is rooted in what I have been actively fighting for and against. I am not playing games, and I will never apologize for putting Chicago’s citizens first. It is always Chicago’s citizens first for me.

I am not part of the political machine. My goal is to dismantle it and bring real change and real accountability to city government through forensic audits, indictments where appropriate, and real consequences for corruption and misuse of taxpayer dollars.

I have been inside all City Hall meetings and have witnessed how our tax dollars are being allocated, while citizens are often told there are not enough resources for their communities. At the same time, I watched them spend billions on illegal aliens, while Chicago citizens continue to struggle with rising costs, property taxes, and public safety challenges.

This fight is personal and real to me. As mayor, I want to be clear about what I would do as part of my corruption and accountability platform.

As Mayor, I would.
Launch full forensic audits across city departments, contracts, and major spending programs to track every taxpayer dollar.

Establish an independent accountability office to investigate fraud, waste, and corruption.

Refer credible findings to appropriate law enforcement agencies for further review and action.

Review all major city contracts for transparency, fairness, and performance.

End wasteful spending and redirect resources back into Chicago neighborhoods, public safety, and essential services to make citizens qualityof life better.

Require full public transparency so citizens can see where their money is going in real time.

My commitment is simple: Chicagoans first, full accountability, and a government that serves the people, not itself.
