I wanted to share something I’ve just finished building, because it comes directly from what I’ve been seeing over the years.

I designed the CKB Certified Ballet Instructor Program after working with many young ballet teachers who were eager and capable, but unsure where to start — how to structure a class, how to progress students, and how to move from dancer to teacher with clarity.

At the same time, I’ve spoken with studio owners who want stronger ballet programs and higher-level students, and who are looking for teachers with a shared pedagogical foundation and a clear understanding of long-term training.

This certification was created to support both. It’s self-paced, meant to be completed over time, and focused on pedagogy, class structure, choreography preparation with feedback, and a final certification assessment — not rushing or doing everything at once.
