When we only slow down after we're overwhelmed, we're always playing catch-up.
Your nervous system responds to what you practice every day.
A few minutes of deep breathing, mindful movement, time outside, or simply being still can help build resilience over time.
You don't have to earn rest.
Make regulation part of your daily routine, not just your recovery plan. 🤍
Deep squats don't happen overnight. They happen one step at a time.
If an unsupported deep squat is your goal, don't skip the modifications that help you get there.
A chair. A doorframe. A rolled blanket. Yoga blocks.
These aren't shortcuts. they're tools that help you build the strength, mobility, and confidence to keep practicing.

Save this reel for your next mobility session, and send it to someone who's been working toward a deeper squat.
Most of us spend our day sitting in chairs, but very little time in a deep squat.
Practicing a supported squat for just 5 minutes each day can help improve hip mobility, ankle mobility, and overall lower-body flexibility. It can also help you feel more comfortable getting up and down from the floor as you age.
Remember: you don't have to start with a full squat. Use yoga blocks, a cushion, or any support you need. The goal isn't to force the position. The goal is to give your body time to adapt.
Small habits practiced consistently lead to big changes.
