They were made to do different things. Antiperspirants use aluminum salts to reduce sweat. True Friend is aluminum-free. It helps with odor and can absorb moisture, but it won’t stop you from sweating. Natural deodorant works better for you and your body!

I’ve bought things thinking, “Great!! I can check this off my clean-products list,” only to look closer later and realize the product wasn’t as clean as I thought. It’s frustrating, and honestly, it makes you feel tricked. 🙃

That’s why transparency matters so much to me! I don’t want anyone buying something because they think it’s one thing, only to find out it’s something else. We’ve all been there and know the feeling! You should know what you’re getting before you spend your money.

Baking soda and magnesium hydroxide aren’t the easiest ingredients to get just right 😅 but we took the time to make sure you get both a good texture when applying AND the BO-fighting benefits.

Good ingredients come first. That’s why our deodorant costs a little more and why each stick lasts a long time. Quality over shortcuts and profit, every time!

I didn’t realize just how many brands don’t make their own hero products.

Once I found out how normal it was to buy one pre-made stick and slap a hundred different logos on it, I couldn’t do the same. What issue would that solve…? So we didn’t go that route. It took way longer, cost more, but I can truly say this formula isn’t anywhere else. It was all worth it!

I never used to read the ingredients on my deodorant. I’d just grab the same one I always bought and move on.

And honestly, why would I question it? Those ingredients have been in deodorant for as long as I can remember. It felt normal, so I never thought twice about it.

I’m not saying every ingredient is bad. I’m saying I used something every day for years without really knowing what was in it. And once I realized what was in conventional deodorants, I now question every stick and the ingredients.
