Terrestrial Brewing Co. moves ahead with deck, patio, event center space The Cleveland brewery is building a deck and patio overlooking Lake Erie and Edgewater Beach, with plans to open an upstairs event space.

Improvements at Cleveland’s Battery Park facility — home to Terrestrial Brewing Co. — continue to take shape, though its owner is in the market for a second restaurant concept there.
Earlier this year, Brew Kettle President Bryan Weber considered offloading the property and was in talks to sell Battery Park to Tim Adkins, a serial entrepreneur whose portfolio of businesses includes nine Basement Sports Bar & Grill locations and Turkeyfoot Golf Links in Akron.
As a deal between them was pending, Adkins told Crain’s that he was weighing about $2.5 million in renovations for the roughly 12,000-square-foot building. His tentative plans called for two new bar/restaurant concepts and an event space on the upper floor.
After community pushback, plans changed, and the deal with Adkins was called off.
“Over 100 people from the community came out, and we had a meeting where we said we are not closing Terrestrial,” Weber said. “They really want to support Terrestrial.”
As of this summer, Weber continues to hold the property. Terrestrial lives on. And renovations continue.
