I loved God… but I lacked wisdom in certain areas.

And that’s a hard thing to admit.

You can love God and still move emotionally.
You can love God and still ignore red flags.
You can love God and still make decisions without seeking His direction.

Loving God is the foundation.
But wisdom is what stabilizes the house.

I wasn’t rebellious.
I wasn’t trying to disobey.
I just hadn’t learned to slow down and ask, “Lord, what do YOU say about this?”

Wisdom protects what love builds.

James 1:5 says if we lack wisdom, we can ask God — and He gives it generously. That means growth is available. Maturity is available. Discernment is available.

So now I choose wisdom over impulse.
Prayer over pride.
Discernment over desire.
