Your body will thank you, avoid these things for 24-48 hours post wax!



To the gym…immediately no. Sweating immediately after a wax leaves open hair follicles more vulnerable to inflammation and irritation

Date night…fired. Intimacy after a wax can lead to irritation and friction burns due to the increased sensitivity of the area. We recommend waiting at least 24-48 hours after a wax before any intimacy to allow the area time to calm.

Sauna…girl c’mon. After a wax, your pores are open and highly sensitive, lacking the normal protective barrier. Using a sauna immediately after a wax can trap sweat into the open follicles leading to further irritation and problems.

For a swim…stay dry instead. Exposing your freshly waxed skin to pools, hot tubs or oceans allows chemicals into your follicles, increasing irritation and bacteria.

To tan…protect your skin, girl! Waxing removes the top layer of skin cells and creates temporary open follicles, tanning after your wax leaves that area unprotected and puts you at higher risk for sunburns or blotchy spray tan absorption.
