Last April I made the decision to leave my job and venture into the scary waters of starting a company to build a better life for myself and my family. Last night I had a wildly successful product launch for Bok Products and I learned a lot. Looking around the room and seeing so many people surrounding me with the same thoughts, feelings and words... “Luke I believe in you”… Words cannot convey how truly blessed, grateful and lucky I am to have such a warm surrounding of friends and family in my life. Thank you all for your love and support. Sharing my products and vision with you was an experience that is very close to my heart that I will not forget. -Luke

A little about my company…

After working at Aetna health insurance for 9 years, I decided I needed something different. I wanted to put out something good into the world that truly made a difference and helped people, something that provided a real benefit. While honeymooning in Europe, I noticed a dramatic improvement in my skin and hair. This started an extensive research mission. I was shocked to find that ALL of the high-end hair and skin care products I was using contained toxins, neurotoxins, pesticides, cancer-causing ingredients, or all of them together. Sick to my stomach, and mad at all the money I had spent over the years for toxins, I made the decision to find healthier products. This is where the frustration really started. I was amazed to find terms like ‘organic’ or ‘All Natural’ are not regulated. It really comes down to what is in the ingredients list…and what’s not. For example, the word ‘Fragrance’ can contain up to 300 chemicals that based on proprietary reasons, will never be revealed to the public. Oddly enough, fragrance is one of the highest factors for irritants and allergens in an ingredient list. Then I thought… I can do better than this and started making my own. Through obsessive trial and error, my first 2 products are out of research and development! Bok products create effective, high quality, products that meet and exceed even my standards.
