When life throws you a curveball..I find both of these mantras to be extremely effective.

I find great JOY in drinking my shake in a ‘fun and fancy’ cup. Even more JOYFUL when it’s motivating me with a mantra like this one

I came across the A GOOD PERSON store while in Denver last summer… there’s only 1 other storefront for this brand/movement in the world if I’m not mistaken

I came across the store while planning our itinerary for our trip to Denver. I just KNEW I had to visit. The VIBE is exactly as you’d expect. Welcoming and genuine. Nothing over the top bubbly or anything like that. I thinks it’s because this is supposed to be a SIMPLE concept, BE A GOOD PERSON… but we all know that’s not true.

So today, or any day for that matter; if you find yourself battling a few things that aren’t going your way or are out of your control, put both of these into action..

Bringing a little ‘fun’ 80’s-inspired inspiration this morning.

(I just received an ESPRIT catalog in the mail. )

One of my FAVORITE brands back in middle school/high school. Came across this shirt/sweater(see pic below) while out at Red Rocks with my daughter last summer.
It was like a needle in a haystack. We walked from vendor to vendor at an Old School Cool Vintage Fashion & Goods Market in the Arts District. There it was, bright, white and just ‘hanging’ around… I wasn’t looking for anything in particular when this shirt/sweater caught my eye… I remember just holding it, looking at it while flashes of happy memories came over me with great delight. I tried to barter the price a little bit, maybe shaved a couple bucks off the price, knowing I’d buy it no matter what… simply because of how it made me feel.. if memory serves me correctly, I put it on while we continued to be out and about shopping… 🤣🤣

As you go about your day today, remember to sprinkle in some FUN… seek out the people, songs, pictures or things that bring a smile to your face or make you laugh a little, just to yourself, because you know the backstory.. 😁
