In my search for black owned Christmas gifts I came across this Black Owned Business Kin Apparel, Inc. This company sells a variety of satin lined head wear for men and women. I ended up ordering the skull cap set for my boys. These arrived on time so no complaints there! However, I noticed that one of the caps appeared to have some kind of discoloration, like it was pressed with a heating element too long. I sent an email with pictures and they responded right away! They gave me the option of sending the defective item back in exchange for another OR getting some money charged back to my bank account. I chose the credit as it wasn't that noticeable but I have eyes like a hawk! I would purchase from them again. They have a wide variety of satin lined head gear I would use. https://kinapparel.org

In my search for graphic t-shirts and sweatshirts I happened upon this Black Owned Business called Power In Black! I wanted items for Christmas gifts and because their shipping policy was 7-10 businesses days I ordered my items. When I didn't get notice of my order being shipped in that time frame I sent an email. After I sent the email the order shipped but it wasn't expected to arrive by Christmas. Thankfully it arrived before expected! The shirts were made with quality cotton and the graphics were bold and bright! I ordered from them again and while it appears they don't ship within that 7-10 day period, if you email them your order coincidentally gets shipped at that time. Experienced this twice wanting shirts for a Black History event! They didn't come on time but I will continue to order from them, but will make sure I order well in advance if I need an item by a specific date! https://www.powerinblack.com

I discovered this black owned business at the Reynoldsburg Farmers Market last summer and I'm so glad! I absolutely LOVE her soaps! She has a wide variety for men and women and they smell and feel amazing! They lather up nicely and last. The customer service is excellent! I ordered and received within a few days. She sent a personal note as well. This is the only place I'm buying my soap from now on! This is a local business and I encourage you to try it ASAP!
