Happy RAK day! Today is the first day of the month, the day where we look for ways to serve others in our communities by putting them "first on the first". What I love about the below graphic, enhanced by our own David Brick, is that there are two hands holding the world. When we join together for the good, we really can make a difference. Notice that the heart is in the middle of the ocean. To me, this symbolizes the ripple effect and that ripple must start in our own hearts. Today, I hope you will purpose to "see the need" in your own community and endeavor to make a difference in just one person's life. I imagine that you will find your own heart becomes changed in the process; a softening, perhaps, or maybe an ease of internal pain you have been holding onto for a time. When we extend our hearts toward helping someone in need, absent self promotion, a miracle is begun in our own hearts as well. That ripple effect? It changes everyone it touches, even you💜.
