DID YOU KNOW?
That most people do keep their resolution?
Why is it so hard? -Because it’s too much all at once. Setting out to achieve something perfectly for an entire year is unrealistic. And usually not very specific OR there is no action plan.
Let’s NOT have “resolution” mindset this coming year. Instead of grand, vague and unrealistic resolutions, start with a few small goals you can easily achieve.
Focus on daily habits.
Look for quick wins you can get at the start of the new year to create momentum. Then you can build bigger goals onto that. Think of it as a snowball effect.
If ‘getting healthier’ is a goal of yours, then good news! We are kicking off the new year with a brand-new group. We're going to make sure it's a sure thing you're falling in love with new daily habits.

GINGER SPICED COOKIES
INGREDIENTS
1 cups almond flour
1 scoop vanilla shakeology (or 1/4 cup more flour)
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1-1/2 tsp ground ginger
1-1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground cloves
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/2 cup almond butter, softened
1/3 cup pure maple syrup
2 tsp molasses
DIRECTIONS
1.) Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2.) Add the dry ingredients into a bowl and whisk to combine. Then add the wet ingredients and stir well to incorporate.
3.) Take 2 Tbsp of dough and roll it into your hands to form a ball. Place it on the baking sheet. Continue until you have rolled all the dough.
4.) Flatten each ball into a round disk about 1/2" thick, then bake for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, remove and allow the cookies to sit for 1 minute undisturbed to firm up.
5.) Transfer to a wire cooling rack to cool for 5-10 more minutes then enjoy warm!

Here’s the simple process to getting started with your nutrition…
1. Plan out your meals for the week. Use a planner, a white board on your fridge, or just a simple piece of paper – whatever works for YOU!
2. Create your grocery list based on the meals you have planned, and snacks.
3. Go grocery shopping and stick to the list!
4. Prep all the foods that you can and have time for. Cook meats, wash & chop fruits & veggies, make up some breakfast and/or snack options.

Do you ever feel overwhelmed by how many things you want to get done, but have little to no time? Here are some tips to help you maximize your time:
1) Make a list of everything you want to get done and prioritize it by importance. This gives you a clear plan of action that you can follow through on when things get stressful, and it also ensures that the most important things get done first!
2) Break down large projects into smaller tasks, then work through them one at a time. This helps keep everything organized and lets you feel like you're making progress as you go (which makes it easier to stay motivated).
3) Plan far ahead! Have a good idea of what your schedule looks like several days ahead of time. Not only will this help you to allocate time where you need to, but it can also help you know what you should spend your focus on in the present.
