at trophy wife hair lounge, the goal has never been to see the most clients possible or make the most money possible.

we’re dedicated to precision, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service.

that means taking our time. listening to your preferences. asking questions. paying attention to the little things. and making sure you feel heard throughout your appointment.

because when you sit in our chair, you’re not just another appointment on the books.

we would rather do fewer appointments exceptionally well than rush through as many clients as possible.

you deserve a hairstylist who cares just as much about your experience before, during, and after as they do the final result.

your hair not being exactly how you want it can literally feel like the end of the world

that might sound dramatic to someone else, but if you’ve ever cried after a bad hair appointment…

you know exactly what I mean.

i once had a client tell me that she reached out to her previous stylist because her hair felt extremely dry and damaged after her appointment.

instead of feeling heard, she walked away feeling dismissed.

that story stuck with me.

because I never want one of my clients wondering if they’re “allowed” to speak up.

that’s why I created the trophy wife promise.

not because I expect things to go wrong, but because hair is an art, and sometimes after you’ve lived with it for a day or two, you realized you’d like a small adjustment.

maybe you want a few more highlights around your face.

maybe your toner feels a little lighter than you envisioned and you’d rather soften it.

maybe seeing your hair in natural lighting changed your perspective.

those little tweaks don’t bother me.

I’d much rather you have an honest conversation than have you silently wishing you had said something.

my goal isn’t just for you to leave happy the day of your appointment.

it’s for you to still feel excited every time you catch your reflection weeks later.

when you’re trying to grow your hair out, so you dye it dark for lower maintenance… then you start missing being blonde again

the good news? you don’t always have to choose one or the other.

we added a few highlights to bring back that brightness and dimension while still keeping the overall look softer and easier to maintain. best of both worlds ✨

when you’re going darker there’s really nothing to stress about

it’s a lot more forgiving

going blonde on the other hand is a whole different story

blonde is not forgiving.

timing and proper application is everything.

this isn’t a service you can rush, guess, or “eyeball.”

every section processes differently, every head of hair reacts differently — and if you miss it by even a little, the damage is already done.

most people don’t realize how little room there is for error until it’s too late.

this is why experience matters.

this is why attention to detail matters.

blonding can feel like a matter of life or death — literally

so here’s what i do to avoid killing your hair

this client is naturally a darker blonde, so she doesn’t need anything aggressive to get bright

i start in the back with a more gentle formula since those foils sit the longest

then move forward with a slightly stronger formula where the processing time is shorter

no rushing
no overprocessing

i don’t use heat — i let the lightener do its job

i carefully monitor every foil and remove them as they’re ready

not all at once

and i pick out previously lightened pieces to avoid overlap
that’s where most damage happens

does this take more time? yes

is it worth it? always

most stylists will just blindly do exactly what you ask for.

i don’t. i like to take it a step further and make sure that’s actually what you want.

when a client asks for a drastic chop, i slow it down.

i ask why. how long they’ve wanted it. if they’ve done it before.

because cutting your hair takes minutes.
growing it back takes years.

short hair isn’t “easier” like people think.
it’s daily styling. more frequent haircuts. awkward grow-out phases.

so no, i won’t just grab the scissors and go.
i’d rather protect you from a decision you might regret.

and if you really want to go shorter after thinking it through?

i’ll do it. even cut it again for free.
but my job isn’t just to do hair.
it’s to look out for you.

i’ve had clients come back and thank me for not cutting it too short — and that tells me everything 🤍
