Sterling … the best pony in the world…

Many of you don’t know that I’m walking with a cane a lot of the time. Getting around takes three times longer than it used to.
Tonight I came to the farm to feed as usual. Gave Sterling and Summer their apples the went to water and make feed.

All of a sudden I see these two running around the farm outside the fence. Yikes.

It took a village ( namely my friends who own the farm ) to round them up but we did it, despite inviting lush grass all around.

I’m so thankful for my baby Sterling. I taught her basic service commands as a yearling and she forgot absolutely nothing.

These two are half sisters. Summers mom was a tad stubborn, and of course the apple didn’t fall far from that tree. Sterlings mom was the sweetest mare. Sterling and I are extremely bonded . She is my motivation to go nightly to take the best care of them I possibly can .

Party of 5… Plus Cat Mom

On Independence Day Missy delivered 4 red with minimal white kittens and a black smoke torti.

My bond with her is incredible. Her faith and trust in me brings me to tears. She is only 4, but this will be her final litter of kittens.

So far everyone is doing well but please keep them in your prayers. Love help naming them when they are around 4-5 weeks. I wait till then due to ensuring there are no defects that will affect their future growth and development.
