Lash diameters are so important in the lash industry. It helps you determine the proper thickness to apply to a client’s natural lash. We are all about healthy lashing around here ok!

Classic: the OG of the lash game. 1 lash extension is applied to each natural lash. This gives off a natural mascara look

Volume: This is for the ones who like more than a natural look. 2-7 lash extensions to 1 natural lash. (The amount is debatable some say 6 some say 8 so we’ll just go with 7)

Mega Volume: For my clients who love a bold and full look! 8-30 lashes extensions to 1 natural lash. The tiniest diameter of lashes are used to achieve this look.

Hybrid: This is a bonus one. This is a mixture of classic lashes and volume set together

So you are thinking about becoming a lash artist but don’t know where to start?
Here are a few things to consider 👇
✨Check with your local state board of cosmetology to see what the legal requirements are to become a licensed lash artist. Each state has their own laws but typically you either hold a license in cosmetology, esthetics, or eyelash specialty.
✨ALWAYS take a HANDS ON LIVE MODEL TRAINING! Please do NOT take a mannequin only training you are seriously throwing your hard earned money in the trash 🗑
✨Take a 2day training or more! 1 day is simply not enough there is sooooo much that goes into lash extensions
✨Be prepared to take more than one training. This field is all about continuing education so if you are not ready to invest in yourself this may not be the field for you
✨What are your trainer’s credentials? Don’t be afraid to ask your trainer questions! How many trainings have they had themselves? How many years of lashing do they hold etc.
✨What’s included in your training? Make sure you are getting your moneys worth! This is a big investment
