Little life update đ
Didnât do the zipline after all đ
Storms + wet mountain trails + lipedema legs = absolutely not.
BUTâŚ
My surgery got moved up to August 3rd đ
Feels surreal after carrying this process for so long. Grateful, hopeful, and getting everything lined up one step at a time.
Also yes⌠my AI agent team is officially helping me organize meds, schedules, prep, reminders, and recovery logistics because apparently this is who Iâve become đ
MLD massage tomorrow.
Forward motion. One step at a time. đ¤
Why heat makes lipedema worse
Heat and lipedema are a brutal combination sometimes. đâď¸
If your swelling, heaviness, pain, fatigue, or inflammation gets worse in the heat⌠you are NOT imagining it.
For years I thought I was just âsensitive to heat.â
Now I understand what was really happening in my body.
These are some of the things helping me support my lymphatic system during flare days:
đ§ hydration + electrolytes
𧌠compression
âď¸ cooling strategies
đ¤ lymphatic support
đĽ anti-inflammatory support
đď¸ rest without guilt
Not medical advice. Just sharing whatâs helping me on this journey. đż
Save this for summer flare days. đ¤

One of the sweetest parts of motherhood is when your grown children choose you back. đЎ
So grateful for this Motherâs Day date with my youngest son and so proud of the Godly man heâs become.
â¤ď¸
Okay wait⌠why did nobody tell me facials at 52 were THIS good? đâ¨
I already do manual lymphatic drainage and compression because of my stage 3 lipedema, but pairing it with a facial? My skin is GLOWING.
Also apparently Iâm entering my skincare era now đ
If you have a favorite gentle vitamin C cream with hyaluronic acid, send recommendations đ

This season is stretching me in ways I didnât expectâŚ
but I can see Godâs hand in it.
Not always easy.
Not always clear.
But always purposeful.
âFaithful is He who calls you, who also will do it.â

ScriptureTruth WalkByFaith
After a year of waiting, six denials, and a lot of prayer⌠itâs officially scheduled.
August 13th. đđź
This isnât just surgeryâitâs the start of a new chapter in my lipedema journey. Iâm grateful, a little nervous, and trusting God every step of the way.
If youâve been walking through something hard, donât give up. Breakthrough can take time⌠but it comes. đ¤
If youâve walked this road or are preparing for surgery, Iâd love to hear from youâdrop a comment or message me.
âLet us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.â
â Galatians 6:9
I had my pre-op testing last Friday⌠and I got surgical clearance. đ¤
After everythingâyears of questions, pushing, documenting, and not having clear answersâthis step matters more than I can explain.
If youâre in this process, I want you to hear this: progress doesnât come from doing everything every day⌠it comes from having a system and staying consistent.
Iâm not at the finish line yet, but itâs moving forward. And thatâs enough for today.
If youâre walking this road too, I see you. Weâre not doing this alone.
âHe gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.â
â Isaiah 40:29 (NKJV)
If youâre trying to get lipedema covered by insuranceâŚ
stop doing everything every day.
Pick ONE day a week.
Follow up. Document everything. Then step away.
Thatâs how approvals actually start happening.
You donât need more effort⌠you need a system.
Comment PLAN and Iâll share exactly how I structure my follow-up day đ
That pain behind your knees? It might not be arthritisâŚ
Yesterday I shared how bad the pain behind my knees wasâŚ
and so many of you said âME.â
Hereâs the part most people donât realize:
That pain isnât always âjust arthritis.â
For many women, especially with lipedemaâŚ
itâs inflammation, pressure, and fat buildup around the knee joint.
Thatâs why it can feel deep, con
stant, and exhausting.
If youâve been told âeverything looks normalâ
but you KNOW something isnât rightâŚ
youâre not crazy.
You might just be dealing with something thatâs often missed. đ¤
Save this so you remember what to ask your doctor.
This is your reminder:
God doesnât call you into something and leave you there.
He is faithful to finish what He started. đ¤
If this spoke to you, comment âfaithfulâ đ
I Thessalonians 5:24 NKJV
[24] He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
