Michelle N Shook is a Christ centered wife, homeschool mom, and hairdresser and educator with 28 years of experience, currently owning The Abbey Salon She is also a mahjong enthusiast.

Her life mission is to create a caring, loving space for all individuals and meet them where they are in life. Through her alignment with Whole Heart Health, she is passionate about connecting with people through food, healthy choices, and shared experiences.

Michelle believes life is about connection and is honored to be part of something larger than self, helping others find fulfillment in mind, spirit, and body.

Lately on our off time we've been preparing so many Awesome Hair and Mahjong related events and we are still doing hair but doing a terrible job at taking Pictures of the finished work!

What started as a simple idea for a two-page photo spread has quickly grown into something much bigger. Because of your stories, your memories, and your generosity, we’re now creating a dedicated special edition to preserve one of the most significant moments in Livingston Parish history.
