You’re just using the right products with the wrong ingredients.
There’s products on the market that advertise as
“moisturizing” and the ingredients mostly contradict those claims.
1. “Fragrance” & “Parfum” -this ingredient is often synthetic and can cause irritation and dry out the hair if high on the list of ingredients
2. Alcohols: isopropyl & stearyl alcohol- can cause brittleness
3. Silicones: “dimethicone” & “amodimethicone”- used to add slip and provides artificial shine, but can cause buildup on the strand if not removed properly.
4. Water- I know this is gonna sound crazy but leave-in products that use water as its based ingredient is another reason you’re here feels dry, more often than not. The truth about water based products is that they evaporate fast in hotter weather. The solution would be to use products that use juices as their base ingredient juices like aloe that can hydrate but stay in and on the hair longer

Then if you’re ONLY using “moisturizing” products, then that is another way you’re doing your hair a major disservice. Without the proper system to remove buildup, penetrates to hydrates, and balance moisture & protein your hair will always feel dry because it’s dehydrated.
