Outside of Veda, Kristy loves spending time at her family’s cabin in Northern Michigan, tackling house projects, and exploring wooded trails with her husband and two pups. 🐾🌲

🦠 Germ season is officially in full swing! With kids back in school for a couple of weeks now, we’re entering that time of year when germs seem to make their way from classrooms to homes, workplaces, and everywhere in between. As a team of wellness nurses, we believe one of the best ways to stay ahead of it is by focusing on the simple, everyday habits that help support your health. 💚

Here are a few reminders to keep in mind this season:

🧼 Wash your hands regularly — especially before eating and after being out in public.
🙅‍♀️ Avoid touching your face — your eyes, nose, and mouth can be easy entry points for germs.
💧 Stay hydrated — proper hydration helps your body function at its best.
🥗 Fuel your body well — prioritize nutrient-dense foods, quality protein, fruits, and vegetables.
😴 Prioritize quality sleep — rest is an important part of supporting a healthy immune system.
🦠 Listen to your body — if you’re not feeling your best, give yourself the time and rest you need.
