Most patients think facial biostimulation requires dozens of sharp needle pokes and days of hiding away due to bruising.
We do things differently. By utilizing flexible, blunt-tip micro-cannulas instead of sharp needles, we slide safely around blood vessels rather than piercing them. When paired with high-frequency ultrasound to map your unique vascular pathways in real-time, we achieve flawless restoration with unparalleled safety—all from the comfort of your living room.

Another huge loss.
The irony is hard to miss.
For decades, naturopathic physicians have been practicing what many medical schools are only now beginning to teach: nutrition, lifestyle, prevention, looking for the root cause, treating the whole person instead of the diagnosis.
WE HELD THE FORT.
Not because we were perfect. Because someone had to.
I've never answered a desperate patient in the first two minutes with, "We don't do that here."
I've never believed medicine begins and ends with medication management.
Sometimes medicine is sitting with someone in the ER for 15 hours because they're terrified. Walking with them through surgery. Taking care of them afterward. Listening when everyone else is too busy. Asking, "How can I help?" before deciding what box they fit into.
Patients aren't interruptions. They're human beings.
Florida didn't just say "no" to another healthcare profession.
It said "no" to thousands of patients who are still looking for a physician willing to listen.
Dear AANP Community,
Yesterday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis vetoed CS/SB 688, legislation that would have ended Florida's longstanding prohibition on naturopathy and restored licensure for naturopathic doctors under a limited scope of practice.
This outcome is deeply disappointing for the patients seeking greater access to naturopathic medical care, the naturopathic doctors who have worked tirelessly toward licensure in Florida, and the many advocates who dedicated years to advancing this legislation.
The American Association of Naturopathic Physicians extends its sincere appreciation to the Florida Naturopathic Physicians Association, its volunteer leaders, legislative advocates, supporters, bill sponsors, and every individual who contributed to this historic effort. While this legislative session did not achieve the desired result, the overwhelming bipartisan support demonstrated throughout the legislative process reflects growing recognition of the value licensed naturopathic doctors bring to patient care.

Wake up.
Look above the horizon.
The future rarely arrives as a surprise.

Today felt special.
Not just because of a beautiful new building.
Not just because of a successful event.
But because it reminded me how small the world can be.
Years ago, we were classmates.
Back then, her daughter had just been born. My daughter was in high school, and my twins had just "graduated" their first year of life. We were studying, raising families, building careers, and trying to figure out where life would take us.
Fast forward all these years later, and here we are again.
Still doctors.
Still naturopathic physicians.
Still believing that health is about treating the whole person.
And now watching Brielle create something truly beautiful—a space dedicated to functional and aesthetic medicine, where every part of your story matters, because every part of your body matters.
A place built on the idea that health is connected.
Hormones matter.
Metabolism matters.
Skin matters.
Sleep matters.
Nutrition matters.
How you feel matters.
Everything is connected.
What I enjoyed most today wasn't the building itself.
It was the feeling of inclusion, community, and belonging.
Being surrounded by people who have spent years helping others, building practices, raising families, and continuing to grow.
Those moments make you pause and realize how far we've all come.
Congratulations, Brielle. ❤️
Your vision, hard work, and heart are reflected in every corner of this beautiful space.
And thank you for creating a place where people feel welcome, where collaboration is celebrated, and where everyone is reminded that they belong.

I have to admit, this made me ridiculously happy.
A few months ago my feed was full of drama, outrage, self-proclaimed experts, "narcissists" everywhere, victimhood competitions, and people selling certainty about things they clearly didn't understand.
Today I opened Facebook and saw the American Physiological Society discussing federal research funding and the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians discussing licensure efforts.
Physiology. Research. Medicine. Policy.
Imagine that.
Turns out if you spend enough time blocking, hiding, unfollowing, and cleaning house, the algorithm eventually gets the message.
I would much rather spend my time learning something useful than being recruited into somebody else's grievance, outrage, or personal crusade.
My patients deserve a doctor who studies physiology, not internet drama.
This is probably the most boring post I've made in years.
And that's exactly why I'm happy.
Today (6/10/26), American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) Executive Director Laura Farr joined Ohio Naturopathic Doctors Association (OHNDA) President Dr. Jacob Wolf, along with Ohio naturopathic doctors Dr. Kristy Anderson and Dr. Tracey Cook, in providing proponent testimony before the Ohio Senate Health Committee in support of naturopathic licensure in Ohio.
Together, they echoed the importance of naturopathic licensure, not only to protect the healthcare rights and needs of Ohio residents, but also to support qualified naturopathic doctors who live in Ohio and wish to practice and serve their communities.
Today marked an important step forward in the licensure journey for the naturopathic profession. As we continue working toward licensure in all 50 states, we recognize that achieving this goal requires dedication, persistence, and collaboration. While the path forward is not without challenges, together we can amplify our voices as doctors, patients, supporters, and leaders to advance the future of naturopathic medicine.
The AANP remains committed to keeping you informed about licensure efforts and regulatory developments across all states. To learn more about the regulatory status of naturopathic medicine in each state, please visit: https://naturopathic.pulse.ly/apkvolt07q
