Critics claim a mobile practice is unsafe.

They also claim procedures like fillers must be done in a medical office because of the risk of vascular occlusion.
They talk like you need an MRI next door. That’s total bu****it. You don’t need an MRI. You need real-time, high-fidelity visualization. That is exactly what high-resolution, musculoskeletal / vascular ultrasound provides.
It is as good as it gets for safely mapping blood vessels before a needle is ever placed.
I bring this technology directly to your private environment, eliminating guesswork.

Furthermore, people confuse a clinic room with "sterility." A room isn’t sterile; it is sterile in packages. Real-time sterility is defined by aseptic technique and single-use, specialized gear that I bring, sterile, to your optimized recovery zone. You recover in your native flora, without the nosocomial (clinic-acquired) exposure from a waiting room.

Safety isn't a brick-and-mortar building. It's in anatomy and discipline, and knowing when to say NO.

if you're letting someone put a needle in your face, few things they should know:

❌ Russian Lips: Doing extreme lip techniques without respecting vascular anatomy is a recipe for necrosis. You can easily end up with much less lip than you started with.

❌ Temples: they should not touch temples just because you feel like going for it, unless they have real-time ultrasound guidance mapping the temporal artery. Period. If it is experienced doctor, they may use a cannula, measure location down to the millimeters, otherwise injector should not touch them.

❌ Nasolabial Corner: Injector should not not inject the nasolabial corner unless they are 100% sure they are clear of the vessel. Deapth matters. Injecting the angular artery causes instant disaster.

❌ Tear Troughs, hollow under your eyes.: Do NOT let anyone put generic filler under your eyes. It requires a specialized product, deep placement on bone, an actual doctor who knows what they're doing—not someone guessing superficially—and detailed injection records so a provider like me who needs to dissolve it knows what was used, when, and how.

❌ Foreheads & Frown Lines: Injecting filler into foreheads or frown lines to "smooth things out" carries a massive risk of vascular occlusion and blindness. I've touched frown lines with filler maybe a few times in my life because you better know the exact product required and the risk is rarely worth it.

No one can argue with a 6–8 second draw-back, anchoring deep on bone where indicated, and slow micro-dosing. Add real-time ultrasound before a needle touches skin, plus refrigerated Hyaluronidase and Nitro-Bid cream right in the bag, and you have actual safety.

A waiting room doesn't prevent an emergency. Anatomy, technique, and preparation do.

I run a 100% private, mobile medical practice for patients who want precision, safety, and zero compromise.

We need to stop pretending that waiting rooms are "medical grade." They are high-exposure zones for foreign bacteria and viral load. Period.

I shut down my traditional clinic last year because I refused to keep compromising patient outcomes for corporate convenience. The truth is: recovering from joint injections, PRF/PRP, or pellet placement in a high-traffic clinic or medspa increases your risk of nosocomial (clinic-acquired) exposure. Your native home environment is clinically safer for recovery.

I don’t work in a waiting room anymore. I work in your private, optimized environment, and I manually manage every single relationship. Automated scheduling is efficient, but it isn't precision care.

I run a 100% mobile, private medical practice now. This is not casual medicine. This is clinical exclusivity. We operate on three uncompromising pathways:

🌿 1. The Chemistry Optimization Protocol (Prep-First): We stabilize your systemic inflammation, hs-CRP, and hormone balance first. If your internal chemistry is off, your tissues will not respond to a joint injection or a pellet placement. We align the architecture before we execute the procedure in your home.

💉 2. Executive Mobility Care (Procedure-Only): Direct, highly-sterile aesthetic and regenerative care brought to you: Joint regeneration, Botox, HA Fillers, PRF EZ Gel, Hyperdilute Radiesse, VI Peels, and PRP Hair Restoration.

💻 3. Virtual Telewellness & Prescription Management: 100% remote management of HRT, TRT, peptides, specialized lab work, and lifestyle alignment with prescriptions delivered directly to your door.

This model is not for everyone. It is for patients who demand private, precision care without foreign bacteria exposure and without standard medical bottlenecks.

If you are ready for a different caliber of medicine for your face, your joints, or your internal health optimization, my full service scope is available at drelenablackburn.com.

To inquire about scheduling, do not look for a booking portal. I handle my own calendar. Text my private practice line directly at 541-238-2108 and tell me exactly what you need.

Most patients think facial biostimulation requires dozens of sharp needle pokes and days of hiding away due to bruising.

We do things differently. By utilizing flexible, blunt-tip micro-cannulas instead of sharp needles, we slide safely around blood vessels rather than piercing them. When paired with high-frequency ultrasound to map your unique vascular pathways in real-time, we achieve flawless restoration with unparalleled safety—all from the comfort of your living room.

Another huge loss.

The irony is hard to miss.

For decades, naturopathic physicians have been practicing what many medical schools are only now beginning to teach: nutrition, lifestyle, prevention, looking for the root cause, treating the whole person instead of the diagnosis.

WE HELD THE FORT.

Not because we were perfect. Because someone had to.

I've never answered a desperate patient in the first two minutes with, "We don't do that here."

I've never believed medicine begins and ends with medication management.

Sometimes medicine is sitting with someone in the ER for 15 hours because they're terrified. Walking with them through surgery. Taking care of them afterward. Listening when everyone else is too busy. Asking, "How can I help?" before deciding what box they fit into.

Patients aren't interruptions. They're human beings.

Florida didn't just say "no" to another healthcare profession.

It said "no" to thousands of patients who are still looking for a physician willing to listen.

Dear AANP Community,

Yesterday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis vetoed CS/SB 688, legislation that would have ended Florida's longstanding prohibition on naturopathy and restored licensure for naturopathic doctors under a limited scope of practice.

This outcome is deeply disappointing for the patients seeking greater access to naturopathic medical care, the naturopathic doctors who have worked tirelessly toward licensure in Florida, and the many advocates who dedicated years to advancing this legislation.

The American Association of Naturopathic Physicians extends its sincere appreciation to the Florida Naturopathic Physicians Association, its volunteer leaders, legislative advocates, supporters, bill sponsors, and every individual who contributed to this historic effort. While this legislative session did not achieve the desired result, the overwhelming bipartisan support demonstrated throughout the legislative process reflects growing recognition of the value licensed naturopathic doctors bring to patient care.
