Lelé Doll Inspired theme for Hispanic Heritage Month (but with a twist the doll is my mom) 🥹🩷

A natural nail overlay isn’t about adding length it’s about reinforcing and protecting the natural nail while creating structure and durability. ✨🩷

For this new client, I used builder gel to create a structured overlay on her natural nails. She also came in with a few broken nails, so I performed individual nail repairs where needed to help bring everything back to a more uniform length and shape.

Not every nail needs the same approach. Sometimes it’s an overlay, sometimes it’s a repair, and sometimes it’s a combination of techniques to achieve the best overall result. 💅🏽

The goal is always to work with the natural nail not against it while choosing the appropriate product and technique based on the client’s nail condition, lifestyle, and desired outcome.

Healthy-looking nails + proper structure + attention to detail = the goal. ✨

As a nail tech, I've learned that there isn't just one way to achieve beautiful, healthy-looking nails. There are different enhancement systems, and each one has its own benefits depending on the nail, the desired result, and the tech's technique.

I've personally worked with acrylic, dip powder, polygel, hard gel, and soft gel. Through experimenting with different products, I've found that gel-based systems are what I prefer to work with and what I feel most comfortable using on my clients.

For example, rubber base gel is a soft, flexible gel product that can be a great option for certain nail repairs and natural nail services because it provides flexibility while still adding support and structure. The key is knowing when and how to use the product appropriately. ✨

That doesn't mean one product is better than another. It simply means every nail tech develops their own preferences based on their experience, education, technique, and the needs of their clients.

Today, I wanted to show you how I use rubber base gel to repair a nail and get a beautiful, durable result. 🩷💅🏽✨

There's more than one way to do nails, and that's one of the things I love about this industry. I get to be the artist, make the decisions, and choose the techniques and products that I feel are best for the service I'm providing. 🩷✨

I never posted this set. This was moments before my pinky nail broke off (the natural nail)😭. But it's healing, growing, and almost back to a full nail! ✨🩷🙌🏽

One day, I’m going to look back at videos like this and remember when it was just me sitting at my table, packing every order myself. 🥹🩷✨🙌🏽
