Today I used this gel remover to remove my structured gel, and I noticed something interesting.
Almost immediately, my nails felt… tight.
It wasn’t painful, but it was an unusual sensation that caught my attention.
When I looked more closely, my nails appeared to curve inward more than usual. For a moment, I wondered if they were beginning to look like pincer nails.
Instead of jumping to conclusions, I decided to observe what was happening.
After taking more photos and giving my nails some time to recover, the curve relaxed back toward its normal shape.
Based on what I observed, I believe the temporary change may have been related to dehydration of the nail plate while the structured gel was breaking down—not a permanent change to the shape of my nails.
Moments like this remind me why I love teaching DIY NailCare. Healthy nail care isn’t just about beautiful nails. It’s about understanding what’s happening beneath the surface and learning to observe before we assume.
I’m going to keep paying attention, keep learning, and keep sharing what I discover along the way.

This weekend, my DIY NailCare Kits officially became part of the Bankhead Collective, and I’m so grateful for this opportunity!
One thing I’ve learned on this business journey is that success doesn’t always come from doing what everyone else is doing. I’ve realized I do my best work when I can focus on creating, preparing, educating, and serving—not chasing sales.
The Bankhead Collective gives me a place where people can discover my products while also supporting a community of amazing local small businesses.
On opening day, I sold 3 DIY NailCare Kits! 💅🏽
To some, that may seem like a small number. To me, it’s a reminder that every business grows one customer, one relationship, and one opportunity at a time.
