I’m coming out with my mental health apparel collection called The Warrior Within and I need your honest feedback of what you think about it. Being someone who manages bipolar, anxiety and depression I wanted to create something that people who struggle with different mental health conditions can be proud of and know that we are not alone in fighting this battle. There are 7 mental health conditions that will be feature. They are bipolar, depression, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, borderline personality disorder, dissociative identity and anxiety. Hey warriors!
My name is Sharae. I’m an artist/creative that manages bipolar, anxiety and depression.
I need your honest feedback on this new design that I'm working on. It’s my mental health apparel collection called The Warrior Within, and I wanted to share the concept here first to get your real thoughts.
I wanted to move away from muted, sad colors and make something unapologetically bold and bright. The design features a teddy bear split right down the middle with black and white checkerboard on one side of the teddy bear and the other half with bright colors that says I'm an overcomer." I wanted to show the internal battle that we all go through with dealing with mental health and the struggle with heaviness/instability and stability. Also the resilience that we carry that makes us warriors. This collection will feature 7 mental health conditions: bipolar, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, schizoaffective, borderline personality disorder and dissociative identity disorder. I hope you like it and tell me what you think? Would you wear it?
