She knew it was going to be a process and take a lot longer than if we were just doing red. And I always appreciate when clients understand getting to platinum especially while removing color from the hair it takes time and may require multiple services.
We did hers on 2 different but consecutive days.
Any time we do a big transformation like this it doesn’t just happen in 2 hours it is a PROCESS. We had to first lift out all the red, coppers, violet reds that lived in her hair for over 10 years. Some were professional color some were box color. I did this by lifting the hair twice and washing, toning, and treating the hair to prevent damage and then blowdrying In between each lightening. Once it was lifted I was able to tone the blonde to get the remaining undertones out and then I went in and added the purple.

The 3 different violet/purples are from
I toned the blonde with Shades EQ and Purple Shampoo.
I used Blonde Life Silver Light to lighten the hair.
