I wanted something for those moments when your skin is just iTchY!😵‍💫

But not something you have to scoop out of a jar with your fingers after you just touched 3 door handles, a grocery cart, and a leaky meat tray from the grocery store.

So I made it a stick.

The Herbal Itch Support Balm stick starts with tallow and jojoba infused with plantain leaf and calendula, then gets formulated with beeswax, vitamin E, and bisabolol into a solid balm you can swipe directly onto the skin.

Swipe, cap, done.

This is one of my favorite kinds of products to create: start with a real-life problem, research the ingredients, think through the format, test it, adjust it, and eventually end up with something that earns a permanent spot in my bag.

Apply your balm while your skin is still slightly damp.

A water-free balm isn't supplying water to your skin the way a water-containing lotion or cream can. Instead, the oils and fats help soften the skin and help hold onto moisture that's already there.

So after a shower, washing your face, or washing your hands:

Don't dry your skin completely.

Leave it just a little damp, then apply a small amount of balm.

You may find you need far less product than you thought.

Small-batch skincare doesn't have to mean complicated skincare. Sometimes its just about knowing how to use what you already have.
