Introducing the pig board aka one of the most important tools for moving pigs around the farm.
Pigs donât have great eyesight, so a pig board looks like a solid wall to them. With a few people working together, we can use these boards to calmly guide the pigs where they need to go without chasing or stressing them.
It may not look very sophisticated, but it works incredibly well.
And yes, carrying one around does make Phil look a little like a medieval warrior.
Just another piece of everyday life at Hopewell Farms GA!
Juleah, our Beauty Products Manager, is excited to introduce you to all of our new Tallow Beauty Whip scents!
Our Tallow Beauty Whip is made with grass-fed, grass-finished beef tallow that has been carefully rendered for about 100 hours. Naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E & K, it provides long-lasting moisture for your face, body, and lips.

Our new covered composting area is officially up and running!
As part of our commitment to regenerative agriculture and reducing waste, we compost poultry processing byproducts, cracked eggs, vegetable scraps, and other organic material from around the farm.
With the help of wood chips, moisture, heat, time, and a little turning, that material breaks down into rich compost that can go right back onto our pastures and garden beds.
Healthy soil is at the heart of everything we do.
Next time you stop by the farm store, check it out and let us know what you think!
