Clean Beauty - is it important to you?

Yesterday I posted a reel announcing my affiliation with Limelife by Alcone.

My mission has not changed-
I love serving women to come along side them and do what I can to help them feel more confident, more beautiful and supported to live their lives!

Here’s how I’ve done it in the past. I started in this industry with Southern Living at Home, (remember them?) helping women decorate their homes, inspiring them to feel great about their homes and serve friends & family.

Then serendipitously I moved to the designer jewelry business but totally enjoyed helping women find style and feel good about the accessories that could accentuate their beauty.

Next up was Theorem and if you’ve followed me for any length of time you know how passionate I am about hair health. You know my story of hair transformation and the lives of women that have changed because of hair education and great healthy clean products- boy is THAT a confidence builder!

I’ve learned the value of clean healthy products by doing research regarding beauty product ingredients- eye opening!!

If you’re still reading, thank you! I’m here to serve women to help them feel confident about their products and feel happy about the results with their skin care and makeup!

Double tap if you’ll join me on this journey and follow along to learn! Is there a question about clean skin care products or makeup I can help you with?

Knowing and feeling- two different things right?

We can know many many things yet be missing the feeling. Even though feelings can sometimes be rather fickle, we as humans love to FEEL. Or the feelings become too intense that we avoid feeling them, am I right?

We want just the right amount of knowing and just the right amount of feeling.

Today I pray there are just the right amount of both- but what I DO know is that with enough knowing and doing, we can begin to FEEL. Sometimes we have to act on what we KNOW to be true whether we feel like it or not.

For this Wednesday I am working on what I know to be true, moving forward in faith- whether I feel it or not- how about you?

What do you KNOW to be true that you just need to walk in faith to begin to feel?

We can only see what we see.

But what a wonder that there is unfathomably more than we could ever begin to understand that God knows, that He plans, and that He does.

He has made everything beautiful in its time- happy new year - welcome to 2023.

Have a blessed Sunday and January 1.

The number one reason New Years Resolutions fail is that they’re unreasonable!

You wake up on January 1st and are you a new person? Probably not. Probably just a tired person- ha.

The first decision is do you even have changes you want to make?

The second one is when you decide the changes you want to make- let’s check to make sure they are reasonable. Change happens successfully in small increments- it’s rare to completely change habits overnight- cold Turkey.

Thirdly, the way to make significant changes is in small steps! Want to exercise everyday day, give up sugar and eat more nutritionally? Oh and drink more water?

It will be more difficult to do ALL of them at once! Just choose one. What if you just increase your water the first week? Or how about making sure you get a certain number of servings of veggies every day (increasing water a bit will make this transition easier 🥴)?

Map out a plan to do the changes in increments! Success happens in small changes.

Give yourself the gift of the decision and one small step toward making the change happen. Don’t beat yourself up for slip ups- see every positive change as progress toward your goal- perfection not required!

What one small change can you implement toward a larger goal? Most of mine are health related but another one I have is reading more.

I’m going to identify ONE book (a whole years worth of books would totally derail me) and make a plan to get it read by February. That means breaking it down by chapters then pages. Baby steps but a way to ensure success!

How about you? Is there one goal you can break down into very small steps so you can change slowly? I’d love to hear about it!

Merry Christmas friends!!!

I hope your day is filled with blessings beyond measure whether your Christmas Day is all you’d hoped for or something less than that!

Count your blessings and call your mamma if you can. Make lots of memories and enjoy your day!!

I was reminded by a friend this morning that sometimes pain interrupts- sometimes we have the worst of circumstances when we want the best instead.

We can affect our outlook- we have the gift of peace & hope! Pain can rob us or make our situation sweeter. Allow the peace that surpasses all understanding to lead your heart today.

Verse from Isaiah 9:6

Advent is a journey through the biblical story pointing out how all the promises of God find their Yes in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20). On the fourth Sunday of Advent (Advent IV), we celebrate God's faithfulness in sending Jesus, and we remember that faithfulness as we look forward to Christ's second coming.

The fourth candle of Advent is called the “Angel Candle” and symbolizes peace. This name comes from the fact that the angels announced that Jesus came to bring peace (Luke 2:14). This week we are reminded that Jesus came to bring peace to our hearts and to our world!

Have a great Sunday y’all!!
