Hair topper placement and application ✨
Brush a little hair foreward. Position the topper just behind your natural hairline. Leave a thin layer of your biological hair completely free at the very front so people see your natural hairline.
Do not line up parts directly: we suggest not to line up the topper’s part exactly with your natural biological hair part. Doing so highlights the drastic difference in hair density.
Set it slightly off-center: Place the topper just a little bit to the left or right of your natural part line.
The “Flat Front” Clip Trick: When closing the front clip, do not put your hand underneath it. Instead, position your fingers on each outer side of the front clip, pull it tight against your head, and snap it shut. This technique prevents a floating “gap” and forces the topper to lay completely flat.
Secure the Back and Sides
Clip sequence: Once your front clip is anchored, secure the back clip next, followed by the side clips.
Scoop gently: In this topper we feature four soft, coated pressure clips. Use a gentle scooping motion to catch a small amount of biological hair before snapping them closed. If a clip feels tight or pulls, unclip it and adjust—it should never cause discomfort.
Fluff and Blend
Use your fingers, comb or detangling brush to fluff your natural front hair up and back into the topper to blend the two together flawlessly.
Pro-Tips
You can use tinted scalp powders to fill in your bio hair line or a grippy powder on the scalp and/or clips to help the clips feel more secure.

When you have a studio full of blonde wigs… sometimes you just have to have a Dolly moment. 🤍✨
The Confidence Beyond team had a little too much fun trying on some of our blondes in tribute to the one and only Dolly Parton. Lots of hair, big smiles, and plenty of personality. 💁🏼♀️
One of our favorite Dolly quotes feels especially fitting around here: “Find out who you are and do it on purpose.”
Because whether your hair is blonde, brunette, silver, over-the top, understated, sleek, curly, pixie, layered, synthetic, human hair, growing from your head, or sitting beautifully on top of it — confidence has never been about the hair itself.
It’s about feeling like you. 🩵💯
