1000 more hours later and I’m officially a cosmetology instructor! 👩🏼‍🏫💕
What a journey! Going back to get this license was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Not only did I️ learn how to be a teacher but I️ also got to fine-tune my own skill set. These girls put me to the test every day and I️ could not be more grateful for it.
There wasn’t a day that went by where I️ wasn’t entertained or challenged. Every day they built me up, everyday my students surrounded me with love. My girls at PMTS became a family to me. The support I️ was given by everyone was indescribable.
What started as a goal for another license quickly became so much more, the girls shifted my perspective and gave meaning to my day.
Baby boy is due in just 8 weeks so I️’m going to take a step back and focus on motherhood for a while but I️ will be back behind the chair & teaching when the time is right. 🩷💇🏼‍♀️
