So I did a thing…. I *believe* it was Allie Elliott| Intentional motherhood+Christ centered habits who gave me this idea? But I can’t remember exactly — I just want to give credit as due — but I turned off all notifications on my phone. All, as in all.

As someone who feels an intrinsic need to respond *immediately* to every text, email or notification to key my mileage, read my daily scripture or completely my daily Spanish lesson — this was nerve wracking for me, which made it all the more necessary.

It was time to break up with instant access to my soul from the outside world lol.

My ringer is on instead of in DND so if someone calls me, I’ll hear it, but other than that, I’ll get to it when I sit down for some intentional phone time.

I seriously thought I had ADHD or major focus problems, but turns out, my concentration was just interrupted, all the time.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I’m urgent in most everything that I do and work hard to prioritize my time so I can serve others well. So I had to trust that and give this a try.

Maybe this isn’t a novel concept, but it’s revolutionary to me 😅👍 hope this helps!
