Smelly p**p is not random.
In functional medicine, we see this as a sign that digestion and gut balance may be off.
Common reasons:
• food not fully broken down
• gut bacteria imbalance
• slow digestion or constipation
• low stomach acid or enzymes
• fermentation in the gut
Research on the gut microbiome shows that shifts in bacterial balance can directly change how food is broken down, which impacts odor, gas, and stool quality.
Your body is not being “gross.”
It’s giving feedback.
And instead of guessing, you can actually test what’s going on.
A GI-MAP stool test looks at gut bacteria, digestion markers, parasites, and inflammation so we can see what’s really happening instead of assuming.
If this is something you’re dealing with, don’t ignore it.
Your gut is always communicating.
Who are you in this video?
Not from a place of judgment, but from awareness.
Because it’s easy to see patterns when it’s someone else… but much harder when it feels familiar.
So the real question is not just recognition.
It’s choice.
Which narrative are you living from right now?
And which one do you actually want to act on moving forward?
Because nothing changes until you decide to stop repeating what you already see isn’t working.
Awareness is powerful… but action is what creates the results you want.

I just lost my mother-in-law…
and there’s something I didn’t expect to feel.
In the middle of everything, I caught myself thinking:
“Am I doing enough?”
“Could I have done more?”
“Did I show up enough?”
And sitting there with my family… not fixing anything… just being there…
I realized something:
Sometimes, doing more isn’t the answer.
Being present is.
Sitting close.
Holding a hand.
Loving people while you still can.
Part of me still wants to stay busy, to distract, to do…
But this moment didn’t ask that of me.
It asked me to slow down.
To feel.
To love.
At the end of the day… it’s not about doing everything.
It’s about loving well.
If your heart feels heavy or you feel like you’re not doing enough…
maybe today isn’t about doing more.
Maybe it’s about being here.
Because sometimes… your presence is the medicine. 💛
She thought she had a discipline problem.
But she was just under-eating all day.
Coffee → busy → no time to eat →
then suddenly… night hits.
And it feels like “no control.”
That’s not lack of willpower.
That’s biology.
When we gave her body what it needed earlier…
everything changed.
Less cravings.
More control.
More consistency.
If nights feel like your hardest time…
You might just be under-fueled.
Today, let’s celebrate women and our power to start over, rebuild, and grow. 💛
I’m sharing a real conversation I had with a client navigating menopause 💬
Hot flashes. Anxiety. Feeling overwhelmed. Low energy. And that constant question: “Why do I feel like this?”
Together, we didn’t try to fix everything at once. We focused on what actually moves the needle:
✨ getting the right hormone support
✨ leaning into relationships that truly uplift her
✨ setting boundaries and learning to say no — because we don’t have the same energy we did in our 20s, and that’s okay
I’m sharing this because I know she’s not alone.
And maybe this helps you pause and ask yourself: what do I need to change so I can feel my best again?
You don’t have to do this alone 🤍

For the first time in my medical lifetime, the U.S. government is telling the truth about highly processed food. Drop a YES below, and I’ll DM you the full article I just wrote, breaking down The 2025–2030 Dietary Guidelines.
This marks a real course correction after decades of advice that coincided with rising obesity, diabetes, and diet-driven chronic disease. What we eat matters more than how many calories we count.
The new Guidelines explicitly reject highly processed foods, restore protein to its rightful place, accept full-fat dairy, and acknowledge that some people with chronic disease may benefit from lower-carbohydrate diets.
They aren’t perfect, and personalization still matters. But this is the most scientifically defensible set of Dietary Guidelines we’ve seen.
