Carla Marie "C. Marie" Williams is an awarded Transformational Speaker, Marketer, Media Maven, Storyteller, Consultant and has been dubbed "The Eventpreneur." She launched her purposeful speaking, coaching and events practice- The Purpose Broker LLC in 2018 and recently founded the PIVOT Agency in 2026. PIVOT is a unique marketing & PR firm with a focus on helping job seekers, entrepreneurs and creative companies to rise from stagnation, trauma, or changes and thrive in today's economy by bringing their story + impact forward in more meaningful and strategic ways. This has been C. Marie's own secret sauce in landing multiple job offers every year and starting multiple businesses since the time that she was in college.

Someone who believed so much in media and events, she often used her school loan money to produce short films and highly attended events. It was then that she realized she had a knack for building brands, audiences, experiences and bringing people together in transcendent ways. The former debater, pageant winner and Oratorical Speaking Champion decided to end her trek to law school and continue down a route many initially thought was less impressive as she waited tables while launching a startup out of college and pursued a career in Marketing and Sales. Being offered multiple President, VP, Director, GM and Board titles- trusting her vision for her life paid off tremendously. Becoming a Stay-at-Home-Mom and Homeschooler during her daughter's early years, however, was the title that showed her what she's willing to sacrifice for her values and what she's truly capable of.

"I don't see business and healing as separate" says C. Marie. "If you're not trying to solve problems and save lives, families, jobs or communities- go sit down." The former NYC- Power Millennial of the Year Award Winner has taken pride in being called "a revolutionary in a suit." She desires to be who her dog thinks she is and who her parents empowered her to be: her full self, using her greatest gifts for the greater good.

Most of all, C. Marie wants to show her daughter more than she tells her- to live authentically, courageously and to see no limits in who she is and her vision of who she is destined to become.
