Ever tried a soap saver? It's an awesome little bag that not only holds your soaps (handmade soaps of course 😉😉 ) but it also acts as an exfoliating washcloth. It allows you to use every last sliver of your soap bars, and then pop it in the wash put in a new soap, and start again! Use the drawstring to hang it in between uses and you're good to go! I love the ability to customize them.

WE NEED WASHCLOTHS!
For those who don't know, I am a Soapmaker as well as a crochet lover.
This July Ladybug Suds and Sundries (My Soap Business ) turns 7 and I turn 30-something (😁) For years I've had the burden to give back in bigger ways than I already have been, for our Anniversary and my birthday, I am Humbled to be launching This will be an ongoing campaign to collect items for the homeless, less fortunate and those that just need an extra good dose of self care. Our first initiative will run from Monday June 24 to Monday July 8. We will be collecting items needed for these bags will be delivered to one of the local shelters on July 11 (my birthday) My hope is to provide HAMDMADE soaps and bath and body items for these bags. If anyone deserves a moment of luxury these recipients do. I'll be going live to discuss more tomorrow. Swipe to see what we need, if you want to participate please inbox me for the mailing address or see the flyer for Payapl and Cash App links. Thank you in advance!

Today is June 19 2019. Also known as Juneteenth.
Juneteenth, also known as Juneteenth Independence Day or Freedom Day, is an American holiday that commemorates the June 19, 1865, announcement of the abolition of slavery in the U.S. state of Texas, and more generally the emancipation of enslaved African Americans throughout the former Confederate States of America. Its name is a portmanteau of "June" and "nineteenth", the date of its celebration. Juneteenth is recognized as a state holiday or special day of observance in 45 states.
Galveston Texas was the last place to finally learn that Slavery had been abolished a full TWO YEARS AFTER the Emancipation Proclamation had been signed. The colors of the Pan African Flag are a symbol of the Black Skin, Red Blood and Green earth that make up our history, and our future. ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿.

Here's my list and my progress so far. I was inspired by another Maker. Now I am a planner girl () an Artisan Soap Maker () and a Baker () so my list has a bit of a mix of things I want to get done. I'm starting behind, but a few of these are already on my Hook. I will have to tag my Maker friend as soon as I can find the original post 🤦🏿‍♀️

Guess I'm jumping in on the and train. I don't know that any 4 pictures could really tell my whole story, but Rainbows, washcloths and Pan African Pride are all a part of who I am.

I think its official. We had a blast with these. They splash nicely, don't hurt and nothing to clean up, just wash and dry if dirty otherwise just hang to dry and use again. I'm adding these to the shop this week. 8 to a pack I believe. Inbox me if you are ready for some ASAP!

A little something I plan on testing out with my son tomorrow. Its supposed to be a high of 99. Can't wait to see how they work. If they test well, I will add them to the shop. Reusable, mess free, easy to use (no filling tons of latex balloons) just dunk toss repeat.
