Ballet Folklorico Sol de Mexico is a non-profit organization from the city of Houston TX, founded in 2010 and directed by Nohemi Pinones. In this organization we focus on creating a community of dancers that learn to respect and appreciate the culture and traditions of the Mexican Folkore. Ballet Folklorico Sol de Mexico is a family based group where parents and students participate in many events throughout the year in order to meet the group’s necessities. The group includes dancers from ages 7 to 14 which make up two different dance companies; the intermediate and junior level. The group has participated in different events throughout the city of Houston from TV interviews/showcase, festivals, and the most recent, the inauguration of our city’s METRORail. We welcome anyone that is interested to contact us for more information about Ballet Folklorico Sol de Mexico. Ballet Folklorico Sol de Mexico
