Our Cali weather can’t make up its mind - one day it’s 100°, the next it’s 70°! Thankfully, this crocheted sweater from Boston Proper is just right for warm fall days and cooler evenings.

And this happy blue color? It makes me smile and, weirdly enough, brings me a little peace, too. 💙

At 18, I thought 40 was ancient. Like....surely by 40 life was basically winding down and you spent your evenings discussing cholesterol and orthopedic shoes.

Then I turned 40 and thought, Okay, maybe 60 is the age when everything really starts falling apart.

You know.....body parts stop working, moving south, relocating without permission... the whole situation.

And then I turned 60.

And here's the funny part: I still feel like me. Maybe a little wiser. Definitely more comfortable in my own skin. Slightly more suspicious of stairs and curbs.

But OLD? Nope.

So now I'm wondering....

Is 80 the age when I'm finally going to feel old?
Because apparently I've been moving the finish line for the last 40 years.

40th birthday → 60th birthday.
And I'd really like to apologize to every 40-year-old I once considered elderly. 🤣🤪
