Let me be real honest for a second…
I sometimes find it difficult to post pictures of hair when I feel overwhelmed by the ouchy-ness of the world. I know what I do is fulfilling and has a positive impact on others but with so much suffering I can’t help but wish I could do more.
Feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and outraged is a privilege. I have decided to donate all my tips from this week to to help women in Afghanistan. If you would like to contribute I will have the link on my linktree in my bio.

When the blonde has shine, brightness & dimension a close up is necessary. ✨

Check this out —> Same exact hair just completely different lighting! Lighting and the endless world of filters complicate how we perceive hair photos. Indirect natural light is the best way to capture the hairs true shine and dimension. Direct sunlight and some direct indoor lighting (like bathroom lighting) can cause overexposure blowing out all the hairs contrast and dimension.

“How do I schedule an appointment?!”
First of all, head to my website which is linked in my bio. There you will find all the info on my services and pricing then fill out the appointment request form then BOOM!(GOES THE DYNAMITE) appointment request submitted!
Keep in mind I am booking appointments only 2 months out at a time. Please do not expect an immediate response as I am still adjusting to wearing all the hats that come with this entrepreneurship thing. I reserve my Mondays to get caught up with appointment requests. If you don’t hear back from me by the following Monday feel free to reach out again!

Believe it or not, you DO have to have bright blonde hair to deposit vivid color to your locks.
I’m talking level 9 - 10 hair. Bright colors won’t stick to a darker canvas. Think of it like painting a wall, you can’t expect bright pink paint to show up the same way on a brown wall as it does a white wall. Most clients need to go through several full lightening sessions BEFORE depositing vivid color. Bottom line, vivid colors are beautiful but an investment and take time to achieve.

I’m going to be completely honest, this week has been a whirlwind and I’ve just been along for the ride!
Tomorrow will be my first day in my new studio at the Cityway salon lofts. I took this past week away from the chair to get back in touch with my creative side, to provide the most peaceful and beautiful environment for myself and all my amazing clients.

Any other recovering perfectionist in the house?! This quote hit me HARD when I spotted it.
You may have noticed I haven’t been posting or sharing as much about my transition into my studio...Yet. Wanna know why? Because it’s been messy and behind every perfectionist behavior there is fear.
When we scroll through social media rarely do we see the struggle on full display. I knew stepping out on my own would be scary, but it is a completely different feeling when you’re in the thick of it.
I want my following to see this process authentically, not just the smiles and filters. I know I can do hard things, and I’m lucky to have the growing pains as lessons. I am also very grateful to have all the tools and support one could need. My new space will not be perfect, I will not be perfect, but it will have every ounce of my efforts I can healthily give, and that will be good enough.

I don’t say this enough...

I’m just really freakin lucky to have so many humans who trust me to create the hair they get to live in everyday.

But also the glow of this natural golden blonde is giving me life! ✨
