Dr. Christian's path into chiropractic started young, several of his sports coaches growing up were chiropractors, and he saw firsthand what the care did for performance and recovery.

He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine and a Master's in Nutrition and Human Performance from Logan University, along with a certification in Acupuncture. He took over the practice in 2019 and has built it around a movement-focused, evidence-based approach ever since.

Outside the office, you'll usually find him hiking, scuba diving, or baking sourdough.

If you haven't met him yet, now's a good time to change that, call or text us at 317-884-2636!

Myth: getting adjusted hurts.

Truth: most patients report little to no discomfort at all, and plenty describe it as one of the more relaxing parts of their week. The 'pop' people brace for is just gas releasing from the joint capsule, it's not your bones grinding or anything going wrong.

If you've been putting off your first visit because of this, that's one less reason to wait. Call or text 317-884-2636 and see for yourself, most people are surprised how easy it actually is.

One of the biggest misconceptions about back pain is treating it like it's one condition. It's not, it's a symptom.

It can come from a strained muscle, an irritated spinal joint, a disc, a nerve, or your SI joint. Two people can point to the exact same spot on their lower back and be dealing with two completely different problems. That's why we spend time on your history and movement before we ever recommend a treatment plan, understanding why it hurts matters more than just knowing where.

If you've been guessing at the cause of your own pain for weeks or months, stop guessing. Schedule your appointment by calling or texting 317-884-2636 and let's actually find the source.

Scrolling in bed feels harmless, but it's usually a double hit, your neck is bent forward the whole time and the light from the screen can interfere with your body's natural wind-down process before sleep. Neither one is dramatic on its own, but stacked together night after night, it adds up.

Tip: Setting the phone down even 20 minutes before you actually try to fall asleep gives your neck and your nervous system both a break.

Closing out July, and closing it out grateful. This was a month full of vacations, kids home from school, packed schedules, and a hundred easy excuses to push an appointment to another week.

So to everyone who made time for their health anyway, whether that meant rearranging plans or just showing up when it would've been easier not to, thank you. That kind of consistency is what actually makes a difference over time, and we don't take it for granted that you keep choosing to prioritize it - and choosing us to help you!

Myth: You only need to see a chiropractor after an accident or injury.

Truth: Most people who benefit from care never had a single dramatic incident that caused it. Years of sitting, repetitive movement, and everyday posture habits build up slowly and quietly until something finally feels off. Waiting for an obvious cause means missing all the smaller, gradual ones that were adding up the whole time.

Worn out shoes change how your entire body absorbs impact with every step, not just your feet. Once the cushioning breaks down, that shock has to go somewhere, and it usually ends up traveling up through your ankles, knees, and lower back. If you can't remember the last time you replaced your everyday walking or running shoes, that's probably a sign it's time. It's a small swap that takes pressure off joints you're not even thinking about.

That mysterious symptom and your back pain may actually be related 👀

Your spine houses the nervous system that sends signals to essentially every part of your body, from your organs to your muscles to your immune response. That's the part most people don't think about when they think of the spine as just structural, bones stacked on top of each other holding you upright.

When a vertebra is misaligned or a joint is restricted, it can put pressure on the nerves branching out from that area, and depending on where along the spine that happens, the resulting symptoms can show up somewhere that doesn't seem related to your back at all, headaches, fatigue, digestive issues, even changes in sleep.

That's why chiropractic care isn't just about back pain, the spine's reach is a lot bigger than most people give it credit for.

It sounds backwards, but staying still when something hurts often makes things worse, not better.

Gentle movement keeps blood flowing to the area, which helps clear out inflammation instead of letting it pool and stiffen up. That doesn't mean push through sharp pain, it means total rest usually isn't the answer people assume it is.

Your core does more than show up on a gym poster, it's what stabilizes your spine every time you bend, lift, or twist.

Think of it as the muscular corset around your midsection, when it's strong, it shares the load with your spine during everyday movement. When it's weak, your lower back ends up picking up the slack instead, absorbing forces it wasn't really built to handle alone, which is a big reason lower back pain is so common even in people who aren't doing anything especially strenuous.

You don't need intense workouts to fix this - planks, dead bugs, and bird dogs done consistently a few times a week build that stability without putting extra strain on your back in the process.
