Give me 7 days and I'll help you find your first real connection with another autism or ADHD parent β no more feeling like the only one in the room.
So many autism and ADHD parents feel like the only one in the room who really gets it, even surrounded by family. Building a support network isn't about having dozens of friends; it's about finding a few who don't need everything explained.
β’ Start with one online group built specifically for autism/ADHD parents
β’ Look for a local parent-led meetup before a big organization
β’ Ask your child's therapist or school if they know other families nearby
β’ Give any new connection a few tries before deciding it's not a fit
You don't need a crowd. You need a few people who just get it.

Give me 7 days and I'll help you turn your autistic child's chaotic mornings into a routine that actually sticks.
A morning routine sticks when it's visual, predictable, and doesn't depend on anyone remembering the order from memory.
β’ A visual checklist posted where it's seen every morning
β’ The same wake-up time, even on weekends
β’ One low-stakes choice built in (which shirt, which cup)
β’ A buffer of 10 extra minutes built into the schedule, always
The goal isn't a perfect morning. It's a repeatable one.

I won't stop posting until every ADHD parent knows: the task was never the problem. Breaking it into chunks is.
A big task can look like a wall from the start line. Breaking it into small, visible chunks turns a wall into a set of steps.
β’ Break any task into 3-5 visible steps
β’ Show one step at a time, not the whole list at once
β’ Check off or cross out each step as it's done
β’ Celebrate the chunk, not just the finished task
Small chunks make a big task possible to start.
