Learning To Cope During and After Breast Cancer
Sharing experiences during and after cancer
Advice: As you navigate through your journey of any situation, not just bc, be mindful of the company you keep. Negative energy is not healthy at all! Your healing and your relationship with God should be your main priorities. đź’•
Q: Have your life changed any since going through BC?
A: It absolutely has!!! I had to make decisions and go through things that I never even thought about ya know. I had a double mastectomy. I’m still dealing with hair loss. I have so many imperfections on my body due to surgeries. These are just a few of the things that has changed my life from the outside appearance. 💕 But God 🙌🏽
I remember when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer, I immediately thought the worst. However, in that same moment, I thought about my children and i knew my next step was to give to God and FIGHT!!
It took me a while before telling people of my diagnosis because I was afraid and heartbroken. I didn’t know what to expect, and I wasn’t ready for the over whelming outpour of people feeling sorry for me……….
