The deeper I explore traditional soap making, the more I find myself drawn back to the heritage of it all. I fully understand why some choose not to use animal fats, and I deeply respect that perspective. But part of honoring heritage for me also means honoring the philosophy of waste not — ethically sourcing and utilizing ingredients in a way that respects the full sacrifice and value of the animal rather than allowing parts to be discarded without purpose.

This line has been one of the most educational and unexpectedly beautiful journeys I’ve taken so far. Less marketing. More tradition. More intention. More connection to the roots of true soap making.
