7 daily habits for healthy aging. https://canva.link/cckhodcuhog6weg
Still eat beef & potato or bacon & eggs.
Dedicated to my Mother.
I spent years thinking stress was just part of life. Something you pushed through.
I was wrong about what managing it actually meant.
These are the habits I wish I had started at 35.
πΆ 1. Movement every opportunity I get
After eating. Stairs. Walk during calls. Any movement. Any time. If you want to add light resistance start small and get guidance from a local fitness or health professional first.
π₯© 2. Protein and beneficial fats at least once a day
Collagen is built from protein. Glycine supports it and is found naturally in bone broth and quality animal protein. I stopped skipping this one.
π« 3. A wide variety of foods and spices every day
Fermented foods. Polyphenols. Antioxidants. More than salt and pepper. The gut is where everything else starts working.
βοΈ 4. Morning and midday sun with SPF
Outside first thing. No sunglasses. Before any screen. Morning light helps set your body's natural cortisol rhythm. Mineral SPF midday.
π§ 5. Water before coffee
Large glass every single morning. Lemon and a pinch of sea salt. Every day without exception.
π§ 6. Something cold with pressure on the face
Gua sha, chilled spoon or ice roller. Two minutes every morning. Always downward toward the neck.
π΄ 7. Sleep β and the one morning habit that makes everything else add up
Same bedtime every night. Phone down before I get there. Every other habit on this list gets cashed in here. More about the morning habit is in my free guide.
Doing these consistently did more for how I feel than anything I had tried before.

I'm not a doctor. Just someone who finally understood that doing less of the wrong things matters as much as doing more of the right ones. πΏ
I am not going to pretend the first version is where I started.
The first five seconds are what it looks like after months of showing up. The rest is where most people actually begin. And where I began too.
A chair. A wall. Something to hold. That is not cheating. That is how you start without giving up.
The habit is movement. The level is yours to decide.
πΆ 1. Movement every opportunity β at your own level
Hold the chair. Use the wall. Lower the range. Just start. If you want to add resistance work get guidance from a local fitness or health professional first.

βοΈ 4. Morning and midday sun with SPF
Outside first thing. No sunglasses. Before any screen. Morning light sets your energy for the day. Mineral SPF midday.

He has always had more energy than me. I have always refused to let that stop me.
These are the habits that keep me in the game.
πΆ 1. Movement every opportunity I get
After eating. Stairs instead of the elevator. Walk during phone calls. Any movement. Any time. The lymphatic system has no pump of its own. Every step is how it moves.

Collagen is built from protein. Glycine supports it and is found naturally in bone broth and quality animal protein.

I spent years making sure my family had everything they needed.
Somewhere along the way I stopped asking what I needed.
I was always the one showing up for everyone else. Until I realized that keeping going for everyone else meant I had stopped keeping up for myself.
I still love taking care of my family. My husband. My children. My daughter. That has never changed. I have just learned to include myself in that care too.
There is still time to make memories you are actually part of. πΏ
Taking care of myself started with six small changes.
π§ 1. Something cold on my face every single morning
A spoon. An ice cube. Cold water. Always downward toward the neck. Two minutes. I never skip it.
π§ 2. Water before coffee
Large glass every single morning. Lemon and a pinch of sea salt. I spent decades reaching for coffee first. This one change made a difference I did not expect.
π₯© 3. Protein and beneficial fats once a day
Collagen is built from protein. I stopped treating this as optional a long time ago.
π« 4. A wide variety of foods and spices
Fermented foods. Polyphenols. More than salt and pepper. The gut is where everything else starts working.
βοΈ 5. Morning and midday sun with SPF
Outside first thing. No sunglasses. Before any screen. Morning light supports your body's natural cortisol rhythm. Mineral SPF midday. Zinc oxide or titanium dioxide only.
π΄ 6. Sleep β and the one morning habit that makes everything else add up
Same bedtime every night. Phone down before I get there. Every other habit gets cashed in here. More about habit 6 is in my free guide.
