You may have seen this friendly face around MC Wellness lately…
I am excited to officially introduce Lynn Williamson, BSN, RN!
Lynn graduated from Ole Miss with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Exercise Science and has spent the last two years caring for patients as a Pre-Op and Endoscopy Nurse. She is passionate about preventative wellness and helping people feel their best through education, encouragement, and personalized care.
What I love most about Lynn is her heart for people. She has a natural ability to make patients feel comfortable, heard, and cared for, and those qualities align perfectly with the mission of MC Wellness.
As our practice continues to grow, I am incredibly honored and grateful to have Lynn as part of our team. You will be seeing more of her around the clinic, and I am excited to share that she will soon be offering services of her own here at MC Wellness.
Please join me in welcoming Lynn to the MC Wellness family. I know you’ll love her as much as I do!
Turns out, I wasn’t crazy after all.
Just over here comparing notes with my perimenopause patients every day.
Even your providers need help sometimes😂

I’m so excited to bring these treatments to MC Wellness soon, and I cannot wait to share this with you all. Stay tuned for launch details, specials, and exciting announcements coming soon.
DM me if you’re curious and can not wait! I will share details✨
Fridays call for a Midlife Weekly Check-In.
Every week in my practice, I hear the same question:
“Can you order me this peptide?”
Here’s what you should know.
Peptides have been used in medicine for decades. FDA-approved therapies such as Insulin, Ozempic, and Wegovy are backed by extensive research and strict regulatory oversight.
However, not all peptides are FDA-approved—and sourcing matters.
When clinically appropriate, some therapies are obtained through licensed compounding pharmacies operating under Sections 503A and 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
✔️ 503A pharmacies prepare patient-specific medications based on a valid prescription and are regulated by state boards of pharmacy, with oversight under federal law.
✔️ 503B outsourcing facilities are FDA-registered, follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and are subject to routine FDA inspections.
Both are held to stringent quality and safety standards—far exceeding unregulated products sold online as “research use only.”
At MC Wellness, patient safety, transparency, and evidence-based care always come first.
Because your health deserves more than hype—it deserves expertise.

Blood sugar plays a bigger role in hormone health than most people realize.
When blood sugar is constantly spiking and crashing, insulin levels rise—and that can affect estrogen and testosterone balance.
This often shows up as:
• Energy crashes
• Cravings
• Weight changes
• Feeling off
One of the simplest ways to support your hormones:
Prioritize protein and fiber at your meals.

Midlife weekly check-in.
One of the most common questions I hear in clinic:
“What do you mean by the patch?”
If you’re in perimenopause and feeling overwhelmed by options, you’re not alone. There are different ways to deliver estrogen, and the patch is often one of the safest, most steady options for many women.
This is for education only — not medical advice. Always discuss your individual needs with a qualified provider.
If you have questions about hormones, drop them below and I may cover them in a future weekly check-in.
