Surgery cancellations happen, it’s always disappointing but let’s break down why ⤵️

For starters, I want to stress how important it is to always be honest with your doctor, even if you think it will lead to your surgery being cancelled/postponed. It’s better to be safe than sorry, doll!

Now, let’s dive into why doctors cancel surgeries ➡️

Medical Conditions 👉🏾 Your doctor may cancel or delay your surgery if you have any medical conditions. Don’t forget, plastic surgery is still major surgery! You want to make sure your body can handle it.

Insufficient Fat 👉🏾 This one is for my BBL dolls, if you don’t have enough fat to transfer then your doctor will most likely delay your surgery and ask you to gain weight!

Recent Surgery 👉🏾 You need to be at your best before surgery! So if you are still healing from a previous surgery, it might not be the best time to go back under the knife.

Weight Fluctuation 👉🏾 This is a super common reason why surgeries get cancelled! If your weight is up and down, it can alter your BMI which can put you at higher risk and even ruin your results.

Pregnancy 👉🏾 Well, this one is pretty self explanatory! If you become pregnant, your doctor will cancel your surgery for safety reasons for both you and your baby!

Poor Physical Health 👉🏾 If your doctor determines that you aren’t healthy enough to undergo a surgery, it’s best to cancel or postpone until you are. You don’t want to go through this process unless you are strong enough to handle it. A weakened immune system can lead to a ton of complications.

Remember, if your surgery gets cancelled for any of these reasons, your doctor is doing what's best for you! It’s not never, just not right now.
