I used to think a fine grit bit was the equivalent of a worn out medium grit. Basically a medium grit that wouldn't last as long = A waste of money.
Not true!
Not every bit is ideal for every skin type. Fine grit bits are ideal for those with thinner, wetter, more sensitive skin. If you find yourself accidentally cutting your client when you're doing your dry manicures.... maybe you're using too coarse of a grit.
Nail aren't just about art, it's about your client's health! The better you can care for each client's unique anatomy, the better your retention will be = longer life for your beautiful art.

It's happening! Christmas nails are here in full bloom! I want to do some vintage pink and white Christmas nails and a full set of gingerbread decorated nails with embossed icing. So.... if either of those peak your interest... hit me up!

I'm practicing Dual Forms. This is a method of extending the nail and creating a "hidden apex" so end result is thin and natural, but still secretly strong.
I need models to practice on. You'll get discounted nails, but the rules are: I get to choose the design (each hand will be a different design) and you'll want to plan on being in my chair up to 3ish hours plus pictures. You get to pick the nail length.
If you're interested, message me a picture of what your nails look like now, what length of nails you'd be interested in, and your availability Tuesday- Friday 9-5.

Happy Scorpio season. Here's a permanent home for a couple more Halloween sets before we go back to fall or maybe Christmas nails?
Last year i did 3 different sets with turkeys. Unheard of! We'll see what kind of year this is.

Last week , I tried talking at least 3 clients into doing these chrome pumpkins. Today, someone came in with it as her inspiration. 😄 I love it when that happens! I noticed if you stare at these pumpkins too long, they start to look like bundt cakes 😄
I think they'd be cute on a milky white base too 👀 if anyone is up for soft white and gold chrome nails.
