Have you ever noticed how your mind goes quiet when your hands are busy with color? 🎨
That’s the quiet magic of mandalas. The word comes from Sanskrit and means “circle,” and every mandala begins at the center and grows outward, one petal, one line, one breath at a time. There’s no rush and no “right” way to do it. Just you and the rhythm of the pattern.

A little history: the psychiatrist Carl Jung began drawing circular designs in his own notebooks in the early 1900s. He noticed that whenever he felt unsettled, drawing a mandala brought a sense of order and calm. He later came to see the circle as a symbol of the self and wholeness, and today art therapists around the world still use mandalas with their clients. The tradition goes back thousands of years in Buddhist and Hindu practice, where mandalas were created as sacred tools for meditation.

Glimpse of Earth’s fire Mandala from Forces of Nature 2026 series ❤️
I’m enjoying painting with just 3 colors and gold. I wanted something simple, and yet powerful. Something that could remind me to move freely, like fire… not linear, just freedom 🔥

🌿 Nature is my greatest teacher. 🌿
Every mandala I paint starts the same way: I look at nature and let her show me the colors. A canyon at golden hour, a willow in the wind, a coral reef glowing underwater, a desert at dusk. Nature already holds perfect balance and harmony, my job is just to translate it into a mandala.

In love with this design and colors 💕 It’s vibrant, and yet soothing. It reminds me of old times, when people used to wear colors with passion, when you’d see everything colorful in a home. I think I am influenced by the 80s trend on instagram lol but truly enjoying seeing more colors in here 🌈
I’m finalizing the video editing and class will be released tomorrow morning at 8am PDT inside MAP.
