Summer recap 🤍

I almost let myself believe this summer was a “slow” one because it didn’t look the way I expected it to.

But when I took a step back, I realized God was moving the entire time — just in ways I wasn’t expecting.

This summer I had the opportunity to:
✨ Work on David Guetta’s male grooming for the FIFA World Cup music video
✨ Assist and do touch-ups for Alex Earls’ commercial with Windows
✨ Start teaching makeup classes again
✨ Pour back into my business, Art by Heannys
✨ Finally take my health seriously and commit to working out and training

What I thought was a quiet season was actually a season of preparation, growth and positioning.

Sometimes God slows down one area of your life because He’s developing something in another.

And I’m learning that when you stop looking at what isn’t happening and start becoming grateful for what is happening, your perspective changes.

Prayer has taught me to slow down, trust God’s timing, and look at the bigger picture.

I don’t know exactly where He’s taking me, but I know I don’t want to rush the process.

A slower season doesn’t mean a stagnant season. Sometimes God is preparing you for what you prayed for. 🤍

I love to use a liquid foundation but I do love to have a stick formula on hand for touching up as well as having in my makeup bag for when I have to do my makeup on the go!
