We make an Underwater Items found shorts video

07/14/2026

I usually use a hammer for the final layers… but not this time. We challenged ourselves to break all 100 layers using only our hands. Do you think we made it to the end? 👀

I don’t know why, but wax with sugar, especially brown sugar, reminds me a lot of cinnamon cookies. Do you like the combination of wax and sugar? If so, which type of sugar do you like it with the most? And which layer was the most memorable for you? Let me know in the comments! 🫶

So many of you asked me to make a tutorial, and I finally decided to show the whole process of creating these squishies from start to finish.
At the end of the video, we’ll see how they turned out, test every squishy, break them, and listen to that satisfying crunch.
A little confession 😅 I forgot to buy gloves, and I ran out of the ones I had, so I had to do it without them. My nails suffered a little from the wax, but I cleaned everything up, and now they’re perfectly fine again.
So, let’s see what we created!

Everything started out so well, but in the end, it turned into a bit of a failure.
Grape wax is actually very crunchy and creates beautiful layers. You can see this on the squishy with 13 layers, where the wax flakes and separates really nicely.
But then I found out that my oldest son decided to do a little experimenting on his own and dipped the remaining squishies into hot wax once each.
In reality, this barely added any extra wax. The problem was that the wax was very hot. When the squishies were dipped into it, the layers I had already built up began to melt. As a result, instead of a nice layered texture, they ended up with one mostly uniform layer. This is especially noticeable on the last squishy — it looks like he left it in the hot wax a little longer than the others.
And I also want to mention the scent of the grape wax — it’s absolutely heavenly. It really smells like Isabella grapes, if you know that variety. The aroma is so delicious that I could honestly smell it forever. 🍇✨
So the final result was very different from what I had planned. On the bright side, my kid had a great time. 😅
I hope you still enjoyed watching. I'd really appreciate your support, likes, and comments ❤️

I think it’s time for some new experiments. 😄
What color wax should I try next: blue, pink, purple, orange, or bright green? 🌈
And one more question… How many squishies would you like to see in one video? 10? 20? 30? Or even more? 👀
Let me know all your ideas in the comments—I read them and often use your suggestions for my next videos! 💛

For some reason, the lemon wax formed a solid layer this time. Maybe it’s because I was using it for the third time. I usually use wax no more than twice because its texture starts to change after that.
The other waxes sound pretty good, in my opinion. They separate nicely, but I still couldn’t pick a favorite.
Which wax did you like the most?

Did you like the giantes butters ones more, or do you still prefer the small classic? I'd love to know what you think and which ones you prefer. To be honest, applying wax to them is quite difficult, but I managed to do it.

I don’t know why, but the wax on the cubes and the giant layered butter sounds completely different, as if they were two totally different types of wax.
My favorites were No. 6 and, of course, the giant layered butter with ten layers!
Which one did you like the most? Let me know in the comments — I’d love to hear your thoughts. 💛
Happy Summer Solstice to everyone celebrating today! ☀️✨

I really like soy wax, but using too many layers with it is not the best option. When there are too many layers, soy wax tends to become quite brittle and can break off in one solid piece. Paraffin behaves very differently: it keeps its layered structure well and crumbles beautifully. That’s why I made the soy wax version with only a few layers, while the paraffin version has many more. Did you like the result? And which one did you like the most?

This time the beeswax is a bit darker, but I still like its texture. However, not quite as much as the lemon wax — that one is definitely my favorite. What do you think? Did you like the beeswax with this many layers?
