It’s been a minute since I’ve done a class - I’m going to recap some new things I’m focusing on.

Face framing - how to prep and build it so that it’s flattering and not stuck to your clients face all night. Getting away from quickly just curling the front last minute. Being intentional about the shapes all together.

I did a demo on this updo - emphasizing that this look is a creative process. Personally that’s why it’s so fun for me. Where to place it, creating texture and balance.

I recently saw a video saying “this is what used to be in “style” this is what used to be “in trend” and “this is how we do things in 2026” *cues slick back hairstyle…

The truth is - it’s up to you. WHO are you? I want my brides to do what feels like them. Not what everyone else is doing because it’s “trending”

It’s like saying “vintage shopping is so out of style” or “nobody likes the color red anymore” or “nobody is painting with water colors now days”

Honestly, who are you to say that? There are no rules. Why would you let someone else dictate how you should feel?

Ive literally seen with my own eyes other peoples opinions ruin something for a bride that felt great but her mom or sister or TikTok didn’t like it.

I hear “are you going to look back at your wedding photos and still love your hair?”

Personally, I’m going to look back at my wedding photos and love them because they reflect who I am and not what the internet thinks is cool. I’m going to love them because I’m not missing the point of why I got married.

We are so out of touch with reality and missing the point. And it’s draining me truthfully. I stopped posting what I am known for and what I love because it’s not what everyone else is doing. And I don’t careeee anymore 🪽

Do what’s best for you. And remember you will probably never frame that posed robe picture you had me stop doing hair for. Thank youuuu
