At our last education class, we decided to teach all of our associates and apprentices a technique we learned at the SOHO Academy called a global application ✨

This technique creates beautiful multidimensional color by alternating slices of two different formulas throughout the hair. When I first learned it years ago, I remember thinking, “There is no way this won’t look chunky.” 😂 But once it was dried and styled, it turned into one of the prettiest, most natural dimensional colors I had ever seen.

I love getting to pass down techniques like this because it reminds everyone that sometimes the magic happens when you trust the process
